Walks near to Barnet
Above is a geographical map of the Barnet area, & from this we have broken the Barnet walks web site down to more manageable districts & areas for easer navigation. It will also give us the ability to give you better & more local & relevant information to the area you live in with information on the footpaths, parks, walks, bridle ways & open spaces available around the Barnet area.
From the the menu on the left hand side select an area you are interested in seeing to get a more detail breakdown on the walk's in that area. The online Google maps we have provided will have information with map pins pointing out local facility's like shops, museums & other places of interest with also some good local watering holes (pubs) & places to eat.
Each map will have the facility of a printable map with basic text details on the walk & transport links. We will also give a walk rating of 1-6 ratting on what we believe the difficulty is with advice on conditions & any preparation that might be needed for walks if the area is a little more remote than some others. It is very much recommended to have some good walking boots/shoe as many walks may involve woods & fields that will get a little wet & bogy at certain times of the year. But many of the walks have very good paths & are very easy with some comfortable walking shoe's or trainers are nomaly more than
adequate. Best advise is being prepared. It may of been sunny when you left home, but we all know what the UK weather can be like.
